Privacy and your data
Your account belongs to one space. The club, business or group that runs it looks after the people who use it. Rhappsody provides the platform that runs the app.
What the people who run the space can see
They can see your account details:
- your username and email address
- your role (for example member or staff)
- when you joined and when you last signed in
- anything you add in Edit profile: your name, photo, phone, birthday, language and time zone
They can also add information about you, which you’ll see in My account under Information from followed by the space’s name.
To help with problems, the space’s owner can also open the app as you see it. While they do, they see the banner “You’re viewing as” and your name.
Your profile photo
As Edit profile says: “Anyone with a link to your photo can see it.” Only add a photo you’re happy to share.
Download your data
- Open My account (tap your name, or Me on a phone).
- Tap Download my data.
You’ll get a file with your account and profile details, including information the space added about you. It never includes your password. It’s in JSON format, which you can open with a text editor.
Removing your account
You can’t delete your account yourself yet. To have it removed, contact the people who run the space. See Contact the app owner.
Rhappsody’s privacy policy
How Rhappsody handles data on its platform is described in the Rhappsody privacy policy. The space may have its own policies too. Ask its owner if you have questions about how they use your information.
