Adding the app to your home screen

You don’t need an app store. Any Rhappsody app can sit on your home screen with its own icon, so you can open it with one tap.

iPhone or iPad

1. Open the app in Safari.
2. Tap the Share button: the square with an arrow pointing up.
3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
4. Check the name, then tap Add.

Tip

On iPhone this works from Safari. If you opened the link in another app, such as email or a chat, use its “Open in Safari” option first.

Android

1. Open the app in Chrome.
2. Tap the menu button: the three dots in the top corner.
3. Tap Install app or Add to Home screen (the wording depends on your phone).
4. Tap Install or Add to confirm.

If Chrome shows an Install prompt by itself, you can tap that instead.

What you’ll see

The icon and name come from the app, or from the club or business that runs it. Tap the icon to open the app straight away.

Note

The icon opens the same app you use in the browser, so you still need an internet connection (see Working offline). If the app asks you to sign in, use the same username or email and password.

Removing it

Remove it like any other app: press and hold the icon, then choose Remove or Delete. This doesn’t affect your account.
